An ordinary insect-proof net saved the 100 acres of navel oranges in the world's navel orange-producing area. In the past, due to the rampant Huanglong disease, the navel orange orchards in southern Jiangxi had to apply pesticides "more than 40 times" to control the disease. Inspired by this insect net, the farmers developed an anti insect net technology. By using a physical isolation method, they prevented the transmission of Huanglong disease by aphids.
